From the Market Hall to Wyle Cop

When I opened The Flower Stand in Shrewsbury Market Hall, I didn’t know a soul. Over the following 28 months, it became so much more than simply a place to run my business.

The Market Hall gave me the opportunity to establish The Flower Stand, develop my style and build an amazing community of customers, fellow traders and friends. I’ll always be enormously grateful for the support, encouragement and laughter that helped the business grow.

When Lisa announced her retirement and the opportunity arose to take over Botanique, its name and its beautiful shop on Wyle Cop, it felt like a chance I couldn’t pass up.

It feels especially fitting that Botanique began its own journey in Shrewsbury Market Hall before moving onto the high street. I’m honoured to be following in Lisa’s footsteps, continuing everything that people love about Botanique while bringing my own style and ideas to its next chapter.

The same passion, with more room to grow

Although the name and surroundings are changing, the heart of what I do remains exactly the same.

At Botanique, I’ll continue creating beautiful fresh and dried flowers, alongside indoor and outdoor plants, wedding and funeral flowers, workshops and much more.

The new shop gives me the additional space needed to take on larger weddings, events and installations, while introducing some exciting new products and ideas.

This isn’t simply a change of address. It’s an opportunity to build on everything The Flower Stand and Botanique have achieved and create something really special for the future.
